Shea butter is fat that's been extracted from shea tree nuts. This product has a very little smell maybe a light natural smell of the shea butter. I spread this shea butter daily to get rid of rough skin patches on my elbows, knees and heels. I leave it on overnight, allowing it to fully absorb into the skin. Since shea butter is so rich and creamy, it may not the best option for acne-prone skin.

Very difficult to use at room temperature. It is firmer than butter. Of course, it slowly melts upon contact with the skin at 37 degrees Celsius. I will wait for the weather to get warmer before using it. Nice packaging.
