I was taking this for a post-viral cardiac issue, having read that it helped some other cardiac patients--but after I had been taking this for a few weeks, I got a very slight increase in my chest pain. I read a study later that concluded this may not in fact be helpful for cardiac patients (and could instead be harmful). So just be sure you read up on it before you start it, and it's the right thing for your condition. I stopped taking it out of an abundance of caution. But I can't draw a direct conclusion that it was the cause of my chest pain. Just wanted to share in case it is relevant to someone else.
