Nice quality. Like versatility. Would like strap to be a little wider. Didn’t receive moisture packet inside dust bag as stated in description. Haven’t used yet but has enough space for what I need to carry.
like the quality and the size however I ordered the blue one which in the pictures looks a light more royal blue. however when I got it it was definitely a Navy so dark it look black. I had to return it.
Very nice leather backpack/purse
The bag is the perfect shape and size, however the quality is terrible for the price. The straps on it wear very easily and at one attachment point the strap has completely come unstitched and unattached from the bag after only 2 months of usage. Rendering the entire bag useless since there is no strap on it now.
I love the style and construction of the bag. I am thoroughly disappointed in Macy's packaging. The backpack came in a plastic bag and looked like someone sat on it. The front pocket is very wrinkled. I only hope that the leather straightens out when the bag is used. Coach and Brahmin would NEVER send a bag without protective packaging!!! I don't think the lack of packaging was a fault of Old Trend but a fault of Macy's. Shame on you Macys!
This bag is a very nice, well made bag. The handles are a nightmare. They slide through a patch of leather on the backside of the backpack. You can't grab the backpack by one side of the handle or the entire handle will slide through. I wish the backpack had fixed handles.

Have well-loved this purse for over a year -- secure but easily-operated closure, roomy exterior pocket, spacious interior with additional zippered pocket. However, I wish the shoulder straps were secured in place. It's not possible to put the bag on your shoulders with one hand. If you try, the entire length slips to one side causing the bag to nearly hit the ground.
I love this purse! It’s leather, smaller, and holds everything I need during the day. While it seems like it’ll be heavier, it isn’t any heavier than my previous everyday bag. I ordered it Chestnut for everyday use and the internal fabric lighter color. I can easily find my things. Only challenge, getting the strap through the “loop” on the back. It’s quite tight. I didn’t want to scratch the bag and struggled to figure it how to do it. A screwdriver, lighter (don’t recommend for safety reasons) and ultimately the leather strap from the logo emblem on the bag were used. Last solution worked best. See pictures below.
