I had been looking for a whale tail and this piece hit the mark. It is delicate enough for a dainty chain yet robust enough for a heftier chain. The link is generous so it is easy to switch it onto different chains. It is shiny and well finished.
Very small and hollow. Not worth the money. In fact, not even worth it at 70% off the regular price.

I was very disappointed in this item. I expected it to be finished on both sides much like the side that is shown in the picture. The backside was unfinished. The product was very thin and cheaply made. I have never had to give a bad review on any item I have ordered from Macy's but this was just not up to standard. I will be returning it.
