Drybar Flat Mate Boar Bristle Brush

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this brush! It’s great at not only getting rid of annoying tangles but it’s gentle and feels amazing. The bristles are spaced strategically, they’re dense and strong, but so strong they’re uncomfortable. One of the best brushes I’ve owned! My only suggestion is could we get it in multiple fun, color/pattern options?!

Tingles my scalp. Detangles. Adds shine.

The actual brush head is very nice in the hair, and even in just a few uses I could tell that the brush was conditioning my hair well and was gentle. The handle that the brush is made out of feels very cheap. As other reviews have said, I can see how the paint chips due to dents in the soft wood over time. I don’t anticipate that part to hold up well. Other reviews also highlight how the dry bar label fell off and hurt them. The label seems to be reworked into a simple circle, not laser cut letters which will probably hold up better and not cause pain. I think it’s odd that I didn’t get the product as advertised. I got 30% off, so ultimately keeping it but would i would be disappointed in the quality at a higher price.

I am so happy that I finally purchased this brush. I have wanted it for over a year now, it is absolutely worth every penny! The brush itself feels amazing in your hand, and very luxurious and not cheap. If you’re on the fence, do it, you won’t regret it!

The combination of boar and nylon bristles is exactly what I was looking for. Nice hand feel.
