The crystal glass gives off a lovely reflection from light. Any color napkin you choose would work well. Also I used the crystal block glass napkin holder to put battery operated tea lights inside. Fit perfectly and was beautiful either way I used the napkin rings. They are heavy so they will stay put on a table outside. Lovely item.
