Classic Touch Glass Cake Stand with Dome with Gold-tone Design

This cake stand is very pretty. The gold design on the dome is raised which gives it a nicer appearance. My first problem with this is that the handle is hard to grasp and I was fearful that it’d slip out of my hand. Had it not been so shabbily wrapped that it came all broken (the dome and the stand were each covered with one very thin piece of foam, while the OUTSIDE box was wrapped in bubble wrap which did nothing to cushion it against breakage). I probably would have returned it due to the fear of dropping the dome had Macy’s not credited me for receiving it in pieces.

This is a really elegant cake stand which would go well with most decor. However, you have to be extremely careful when lifting the top. the tip doesn’t afford a good grip. other than that, I would recommend item. .

what a pretty piece to have in the middle of a set table or on a coffee table with treats for guests! it’s sturdy and the gold accents on top are quite stunning. the only issue I have with this is that the tip of the lid is not easy to grab ahold of. once you realize this, you will likely remember to be very careful with it, but it is clearly designed to slip from your hand if you hold it carelessly.
