Johnston & Murphy Men's Perfed-Edge Belt

I’ve bought two of these belts, love the look and feel, but both failed miserably.

Sizing is right. The brunt edge and design goes great with a pair of shoes I have

Stain rubbed off at buckle contact within first three wears. If this is real leather, it came from a plastic cow.

Unfortunately the belt has immediately shown significant signs of discoloration. The style is impressive.

within one day it started peeling and I won't even wear it.

I bought this to replace an old one, which I loved dearly but lost it on a trip. After one use, the leather wore off to a very light color in two places where pressure was applied for the buckle. It seems the coloration process might be different than it used to be. I hope not as J&M has been my go to brand but this has me worrying the quality is going down.

I was looking for a belt that would coordinate with the broguing on my wingtip oxford. This belt nicely echos and brings together that feature. The belt is of a very high quality and not just a strap of leather that is meant to keep my pants from falling. It is a statement of style.

All JM belts have a long pieces at the end with no holes making the belt look so long beyond the buckle

Like this belt, had 2 and gifted 2 to my brother, he loved them.

I love the craftsmanship of the belt. Looks very good with a suit.
