OXO Easy Clean 0.75 Gallon Compost Bin, White

I have been using a compost bin that was provided by Recology, it did the job, but was not a nice addition to my kitchen counter! This one does the job and looks nice!

When I received this item, I was disappointed that it arrived in a plastic bag. This isn’t a boxed item. Not a good thing especially for gifting.

Just big enough to store a couple days worth of vegetable trimmings and coffee grounds. I really like that its design is inconspicuous (don’t want an cutesy bin announcement) and easy to clean. Handle is great for carrying to the garden composter.

Bin size is perfect for kitchen waste for one person in an apartment. Lid closes completely and no smell has escaped so far. It looks nice on the kitchen counter too. OXO makes quality products,

This container is just the perfect size to fit on the counter top and have next to my working area as I prepare food. The handle makes emptying the container hassle free. It is also easy to wash and rinse out as needed. No complaints here!

This is my 2nd OXO compost bin after several years of faithful service from my first. The old one has been on my countertop so long I don’t remember when it was given to me but it was at least 6 years ago. It’s the perfect size, has a lid I can easily open with one finger while peeling veggies, and is so easy to clean. Get one.
