The directions could have been a little more clear with how things went together. It was just an illustration not written instructions. It has a nice shade and glass bottom.

It is an oil rubbed bronze color with a frosted bottom to cover the light bulbs underneath. It is a great upgrade to replace our old 70s bronze piece. Easy to install, even with minimal electrical experience by following instructions provided and a great size for a small to average sized room.

It hangs a little below the ceiling. It was easy to hang, If you know what you're doing. Which my husband put together. The lighting it gives off is pretty bright.
