Brush is perfect to get snarls out of fine hair

I already have the large MP BN brush for regular brushing which I love. Description implies this brush is for hair before and after shampooing to detangle it. Per the MP website this brush is for thick course hair and no where does it state for use on wet hair. It also stated avoid contact with hair products! I use a leave in detangler spray and MP instructions say it can damaget the brush. The final straw was my brush had lint on it and bristles that were bent and damaged. Will be returning this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice quality brush - it really does detangle your long wet hair without snags or tearing. Also works nice on dry hair, though it creates some static if you don't use an anti-static spray on your hair. A star off as it is a bit of effort to clean - cannot submerge brush in soapy water for cleaning, as it has a tiny hole on the tip that it is advised not to get water inside.

Feels like heaven on my scalp!! When used on dry hair, zero static, my curls don’t get frizzy. Consistent use of the Mason Pearson detangling and mixed bristle brushes have helped my hair look healthier, thicker and longer.

Love this brush! It's my 3rd Mason Pearson and it's great for detangling my thick, fine hair. Looks cute and vintage too!
