I wear different pair of these same earrings daily and at first I found them big but they looked good. It has a wide surface exposed to the skin contact and it gets darker and the shiny part becomes oxidized with time.
Earrings are much prettier in person than pictures
They are larger than the picture that shows them on the ear and alot heavier than my similar earrings. I purchased the blue topaz and they are not a pretty light blue - look more like a blue green color.
