After 12 years, the gold tone was wearing off the band on the Timex I loved. Unable to find another one of similar style I ended up buying this Bulova. I ignored reviews about poor quality on Bulova watches and this anyway. Big mistake! Six WEEKS after purchasing it, the gold tone is already worn off the band down to the metal.

This is a beautiful, understated watch. My husband and I bought it for our grand-daughter's graduation and she loved it. I'm sure it will continue to be loved by her for years. She can easily transition from college to a work environment with this classic. She loved the subtle pattern on the face and it fit her well even though she's very small framed.
