Blue Italian features a finely detailed 18th century Imari Oriental border encompassing a scene inspired by the Italian countryside. ICYDK DINNER PLATES USUALLY SIT INSIDE THESE
... THEY CAN BE USED AS A LARGE PLATE HOWEVER. My grandmother had dinnerware like this. No wonder she was so proud of it. Great quality and craftsmanship made in the U.K. If you have matching plates or want one or more, the plate doesn't sit snuggly inside the charger here. This is also great for a bigger breakfast, for instance, eggs, toast, sausage AND pancakes. The dinner plate itself of course is a little smaller for a more normal size, or less hungry person serving.

The best multi-purpose plate ever
Beautiful charger plate makes my table look well dressed elegant. Also for serving everything from precut pizza slices, to a birthday party cupcake center piece.

Spode Blue Italian Charger Plates
Beautiful and very well crafted product. I'm so glad that it is being produced in the UK again.
