Sun Bum Mineral Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30

After trying several mineral sunscreens that were difficult to rub in, too greasy, and left you looking ashy, I decided to try Sunbum. It is easy to apply, smells great, and best of all actually rubs in without leaving you ashy. I recommend this all the time. I only wish it came in a bigger tube.

It is super light and blends into my skin super easily and leaves absolutely no white cast which is highly appreciated. It is water resistant which is great for pool days. It is a mineral sunscreen and it is SPF 30 which is perfect for if you want just enough coverage to get a small amount of color still — which is my ideal sunscreen! It prevents me from getting burnt and gives me a nice glow. The packaging is perfect for outdoors and to just throw in a bag. This sunscreen is fragrance free and for sensitive skin. There really is no scent! I am shocked by that. I have pretty sensitive skin so I appreciate the formula. All in all, I’d highly recommend this sunscreen and it has become a new staple in my sunscreen use!

The sunscreen does not leave a white cast on my skin ( I’m a light brown complexion), and has definitely protect my skin from the sun. It smells AMAZING too :).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The formula is thin enough to spread easily, but is still very moisturizing. It does leave a pretty heavy white cast, but it works fine for doing yard work and I feel protected. I live on the surface of the sun, and haven't had a burn with this. It's packaged in a nonslip tube which fits nicely in my hand and is easy to use.

Absolutely the best sunscreen! I’ll never buy anything except Sun Bum. The consistency is light, smooths over the skin, and stays on the skin well. It even works well with a foundation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a pretty typical mineral sunscreen. I wouldn’t say it’s the best I’ve ever used but also certainly not the worst! Just pretty average. It takes longer to rub in and does leave a whitecast that’s almost gray looking. I will say it is very watery feeling and a little goes a long way. It did leave me feeling greasy and oily so if you don’t wear anything makeup wise over it be aware you may look a little oily wearing it! I found that once dried down, it wasn’t bad to layer under makeup and concealer for me, although the oiliness does show through throughout the day even with other things on top. It doesn’t feel heavy on the skin and didn’t break me out thankfully. I do also wish it was a little higher SPF than 30.

This sunscreen blends out to a lightly radiant finish that looks very healthy on the skin. Upon application, it’s a liquid-y formula and texture, but it spreads evenly and ends up feeling very light. I was a huge fan of not feeling a film on my skin while wearing this. The smell is very minimal and not unpleasant. I forgot I was wearing it half the time. Functionally, it works as expected and protected me from the sun. I typically only stay outside for 2 hours max before reapplying, and that worked here. Highly recommend if you want a light glow to your skin and an almost weightless feel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great mineral sunscreen! Actually absorbs easily and almost entirely… and it didn’t leave a white residue all over my skin. The texture is much thinner than other drugstore mineral sunscreens and still provides good protection.
