I love the capsule packaging. Vitamin C oxidizes very easily, so having each dose in separate packaging is a great option. Each capsule contains enough serum for one full application on the face. Received these serum capsules by way of Macys . My question is about the texture. Is it supposed to be somewhat gritty? It wasn’t just a smooth velvety feel upon applying. Thank you for any insight. Two stars as I’ve never used a textured serum and not sure if I like it.

It takes me awhile to not want to wash it off right away due to the burning and itching initial feel. I have found if I wash my face and then wait an hour so, it doesn’t seem to bother my skin as much.
