this is my second pair, even though the original pair is still in perfect condition. I bought the second pair to keep with my travel stuff to have in case the original one's ever wear out. To note, I've been on a 15day trip with these and walked from 8,000 to over 23,000 steps over all those days, but typically in the 17,000 steps per day range and never did I get foot fatigue. So, now I can wear these daily with impunity and know that if ever I wear them down, I'll still have a good pair for travel. Notable too is that I've been on several walking intensive trips already with these shoes and while I have a slightly uneven step which typically wears one side of any pair of shoes i have; that hasn't happened with the soles on these. The styling is very versatile so you can wear them for both dress and casual use while traveling; at home they are a good casual style: dark brown, good shape. Note, I waterproofed them with a silicone gel type conditioner and that took the stitching's contrast down to about zero, ie: it doesn't stand out, so they're a little more dressy now in appearance. Bottom line: get em! ...and get them from Macy's! .. they told me some 7-10 days or something and they came in TWO days!
