Strongly scented air fresheners irritate my sinuses whether they're sprays, candles, or plug-ins. I do have trouble sleeping at night just from the after-effects. I have found it really difficult to find scents that do the job of making a room smell good without clogging up my nose. I want people to smell the scent when they enter my apartment. I tried this Apotheke White Vetiver Reed diffuser. It doesn't irritate my sinuses, and the fragrance is not overpowering. It has a mild but very pleasant fragrance that after about two days, has been diffused throughout my living room. (I'm in a 2 bedroom apartment that has a combined living room dining area--it's about 900 sq feet). I did flip the reeds after about a week but I think you can turn them even twice a week.

It's soft, clean, lightly floral (but not overwhelmingly so). I use multiple room fragrance products in the White Vetiver scent and always receive compliments!
I love the scent of citrus, and grapefruit may very well be my favorite. This particular brand really nailed the fragrance it is so perfect. I bought the 3-wick candle by the same manufacturer. I love that it’s made in Brooklyn, NY —- it’s really great to buy locally made products.
