Theses are thin and light weight but still I like them a lot because of that

I replaced my 30-year-old Corelle with this new set. Love the pattern and quality. Because this pattern doesn't include matching platters, I ordered a white embossed set and different salt and pepper shakers.

This is the perfect size platter for me. It is a little heavier than my other corelle platters. The sloping sides keep liquid from sloshing out. I often use the platters instead of plates to put salad on one side and the entree on the other. This saves washing a salad bowl.
