The product is easy and comes with a small recipe book to make most of the favorites. Easy to use, comes out perfect. You just need to transfer the batch to a tupperware container and store in the freezer to get extra hard.

I have been wanting an ice cream maker so that i could make my grandfather's homemade lemon/vanilla recipe. This little Cuisinart did not disappoint. it was very simple and made the ice cream with the exact same perfect texture that I remember as a little girl. 5 stars!
I bought this ice cream maker an embarrassingly long time and it sat in my pantry and frozen container sat in my freezer. I FINALLY looked up the recipe for vanilla ice cream, had all 4 (!)ingredients, got liquid mixed and chilled.(1 hour) record, retreived frozen “churner”. And turned on my cuisinary! It was soooo cool! Perfect for 4 people who are all standing around the kitchen sink. It was gone in no time. Making another batch now. Think I’ll follow directions for strawberry Ice cream! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have already made 2 batches of ice cream & 1 frozen yogurt. It has performed as we had hoped & makes great ice cream. The only issue we had was with the frozen yogurt but no fault of the Cuisinart...when placing it in the freezer to firm up it froze rock solid! We had to microwave it to be able to scoop it. The ice cream gets quite firm but still scoopable.
The equipment was very easy to use. I’m glad I bought the 2 quart size as there was plenty of room for my recipe. Ice cream was delicious.
The instructions do not say how much ice cream mixture to pour into the freezer bowl. This seems like a rather important detail, no? The ice cream maker makes 2 quarts, but how much mixture is needed to make 2 quarts? I am making a recipe that is different from the recipes given online.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a surplus of raspberries this year from our bush, so I bought this to make raspberry sorbet. The machine is easy to use and worked perfectly. The sorbet was so delicious!
It is fairly easy to put together and use. However the ingredients at the bottom gets so frozen it is hard to remover and doesn't taste the same as what is in the top.
