Poor quality
Purchased for vacation rental to protect a mattress. Out of the bag It had a chemical smell so washed and dryed on gentle cycle. Never got to use as the upper side fell apart with plastic and fabric separating- weirdest thing I've ever seen. Thankfully Macy's backed the return. Don't waste your money.

hot & baggy
Protector is too baggy over the mattress (no additional mattress pad or anything). It leaves gaps on the corners, so it twists and folds during the night making it uncomfortable. It also retains heat.

You are buying a plastic cover. I was concerned I was going to rip it , as I was struggling to put this on a queen mattress by myself . Definitely need 2 people to put it on . It’s bigger than a queen mattress so the sides were hanging lose . Had to tuck it under the mattress so you couldn’t notice. People here wrote reviews here that it gets hot , but that wasn’t my experience.

I trust Sealy brand to create allergy protection. The protector seals with a zipper around the mattress. I'm allergic to dustmites & this really helps!

Too hot
Makes sleeping really hot. Hard to put on the bed with just one person. I would have returned but I had already threw out the packaging.
