Laguiole Evolution Tradition Assorted Color Steak Knives, Set of 6

Bought these to replace Languiole steak knives we've had for 25 years. Some of the handles had cracked and failed on the old knives probably due to high dishwasher temps over hundreds of cycles. The quality of the current model is not close to the originals. Sharp edges of metal stick out past the plastic handles, posing a hazard to cuts and scrapes on one's hand when using the knife. We feel that this product is not up to Macy's standards. We are returning the knives.

I’ve wanted knives like these for ages, and was so excited to see this set on sale. The bright colors match the vibe of my—let’s be honest—less than refined kitchen, and the price was right. I was surprised at how quickly one of the knives took on rust and pitting. It could just be user error or a faulty piece in the mix, but it’s something I’m keeping an eye on.

These knives do not cut well, and the blade bends easily. Throwing them away as I no longer have the packaging and they've been used and washed

These are wonderful knives. I have had a set for about 15+ years and when I saw these and the price I grabbed them right away. Definitely great knives and do not have the serrated tearing blade, they’re balances and sharp and the handles are well made. Mine go in and out of the dishwasher with no problem.

These are great knives. I use them for cutting lemons, tomatoes and other vegetables in addition to using them for cutting meat.

I wanted new steak knives and saw these and fell in love with the colors, perfect for my kitchen and butcher block, There are several styles from Laguiole in different colors but with large price differences so I bought two sets and wound up keeping this, which is not only much cheaper but the handles are marbleized so look more expensive than the higher priced set. I don't know how long the blades will last but they cut, and they look gorgeous, so I can't complain for the price I paid.
