I’ve purchased 5 of these containers. The first two in a set and liked them so much, I brought 3 more. Now 4/5 have broken hinges. Since there’s nothing wrong with the rest of the container, would love to purchase replacement lids but haven’t seen that option. Now I have 4 unusable containers because of one feature.
Like other people have mentioned the lid does not hold up. This was my favorite one until it broke. I was hoping to get a new lid, but it doesn’t seem to be the case. 😑
These were great until the lids broke. I’ve always handled these with care. They have never been in the freezer or microwave. Third rack, up top only, in my dishwasher or hand wash. This seems to be a common problem.
I purchased six Bentgo salad containers because I liked the design and expected them to be durable and worth the money. Unfortunately, every single one of the six lids has broken. I spent good money on these, and I expected them to last much longer. I really wanted to like these containers, but having all six lids break is unacceptable. Bentgo needs to seriously look into the durability of these lids.
Great idea but the lid breaks. We have used these containers maybe 10 times and the locking lid already broke. It broke on the hinge. I looked under 'replacement parts' to see if they just sell the hinge but it doesn't look like they do. Disappointing.
Broken Lid On my Salad Container at the clasp as many others have indicated. Who saves a receipt for a container to file a warranty claim! Very disappointed.
I bought two, one for my husband and one for myself.... both lids have broken tabs. My husband being very creative fixed them both and they broke again on the opposite sides. Dissappointing to say the least... Don't waist your money.
I've had the bowl a few months. I maybe use it once a week and the clasp broke. Now the whole thing is unusable. The smaller salad dressing container lid also never stays on.
Like many here, love the idea of this, but the locking tab failed at the hinge point. It doesn't look like I can buy a replacement lid only so I'm bummed. And yes, I only hand was the lid and inserts; only the full glass base goes in the dishwasher. I just want to get a new lid and not waste what I have. I don't even care the color!
The lid to the container that’s holds the dressing doesn’t snap onto the container snuggly so I’m constantly worried my dressing is going to spill out and I just try to move the container around minimally to avoid spills
