Pros: -GREAT power, it chops, shreds, slices, pulverizes EVERYTHING -Very roomy, I don't have to be dumping ingredients out, I can crush an entire cheesecake's worth of biscuits in one go, or shred enough cheese for mac and cheese at one time -Safe - it allows you to put in smaller items to chop or shred, but has an auto stop for the larger opening so fingers and hands don't get shredded/chopped with the rest of your ingredients -*very* convenient. When done, load everything I to the dishwasher (except the base) and voilà, almost zero Clean up! Cons (the reason for 3 stars instead of five) -I downgraded two stars for one simple reason: the lid. It is INCREDIBLY difficult to remove. So much so that, because I have to struggle with it EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I use the food processor, I took away two stars. One of the lids to my blender, made from the same kind of plastic, already broke, and I'm terrified this lid, which is WAY more difficult to finegal on and off will also break, and then the very expensive food processor I bought will become a very expensive paperweight. It so seriously impacts my use that, yes, I deducted TWO WHOLE STARS. if the lid issue could be fixed, I'd up my review to three stars and be proseletysing everyone to try to convert them to Vitamix users haha

I bought in 2023 and have loved it until this morning when the tab on the lid snapped off.
I was hoping for so much more. It doesn’t sit well on the base. The lid is very difficult to get off. I am returning this.
Not only is this a very good product as a food processor, I most enjoy the fact that it shares the same motor as the vitamix blender, which is a great space saver. Very happy with my purchase
Spend your money on the blender, it's worth it. Not the food processor. There is no "big pusher". The vitamix doesn't work without the "big pusher" in. It's literally just a lid..... They should have just made the small pusher and not wasted space for the big pusher...
Grating cheese doesn’t work too well cuz it gets stuck in top. It’s very difficult to remove the cover. It seems like it should be much easier. I had a Bosch food processor that was actually a lot easier to use.
Bought Food Processor 12/9/2020. Lide broke, 9/16/2024. Vitamix would not replace it. I have a 30 year old Vitamix that I love, Use It For everything .I would not buy another Vitamix... Claim #370709 Sent in Pictures
Hate the plastic. The food processor covers have bothcracked and I’ll have to pay for a bundle instead of just a cap.
