I purchased the 50 piece set in 2020 and its held up nicely- no scratches or chipping. The details on the border are super intricate yet, elegant & simple at the same time. This is my first 'nice' set of dinnerware and I'm really glad to of picked this one. Just a few warnings: 1) Not microwave safe- due to metallic details 2) They are fragile and will break if you drop them or knock over with force. But, not so thin that you'd never want to use. I just foolishly sacrificed a cup by swinging my arms around at the table. Get it- you won't regret it

Bought this set about a year ago and could not be happier with it! I wanted a nice classic set that I could get a lot of use out of and this set is it. It's beautiful and has held up well to semi-regular use. I also bought the accent plates and they are also perfect. It's all versatile enough for nice dinner parties or for my morning cup of coffee. I get plenty of compliments anytime I have a dinner party.

This is the absolute perfect set for anyone looking for balance between a stunning dinner set that will win you many compliments (including that from your in-laws) and incredibly easy to care for. We were gifted this set as part of our wedding gifts and procured another set after realising how great it was. The pattern is subtle and classy, and even with the silver lining is completely dishwasher safe, which is pretty amazing. Definitely recommend if you're looking to get a nice dinner set without breaking the bank, and this is certainly a collection I see us passing on to our kids as the quality is amazing. The set comes with literally everything you need to host a great sit-down dinner and makes a perfect gift to a new couple or anyone else who loves to host!

My mother bought this set for me as a gift and I absolutely love it! It is such an understated and gorgeous pattern that is appropriate for any occasion. I particularly love the shape of the cup - it is a generous size and retains heat well. I used the set for a New Year’s Eve event and it looked so nice. I love the fact that it can be dressed up or down as the occasion dictates. It also has a nice weight and I like the dimensions of the plates and bowls. It is a clean and contemporary pattern.

I bought the 50 piece set and I wasn't sure about the pattern. I needed it to match chargers and a service I already had. I was worried it would look cheap- but I shouldn't have! This is a beautiful pattern- striking and elegant at the same time. I'm now planning on buying Austin Platinum serve-ware to go with everything I have. Well done Noritake!

This has been a staple in my Aunts house so i decided to try them and i use these on special occasions. There very elegant looking and have lasted through 4 years now around 30 uses a year i know not many times in a year but they have withstood a lot in these years I Love them
