Travelpro Crew Executive Choice 3 Medium Top Load Backpack

I bought this bag as my carryon as a flight attendant because I liked the way I can access the internal area versus a backpack. The interior has a battery compartment with a USB C cable so that one can connect to the USB from the outside. However, there is a zippered wide pocket at the bottom that doesn't really make any sense because once you pack your bag, accessing this pocket requires one to empty the bag to get to it. Could use it to stash some cash, cards, or keys. The tip flap of the bag I appreciated it until I used it. The lining inside is soft for like sunglasses but in reality, your glasses will get squashed and the case will not fit. So if you put other items in the top flap pocket, the zipper separates. It is a COMPLETE design flaw! The outside of the bag has to extendable zipper bottle holders-o e on each side. There are two additional EXTREMELY narrow pockets on the front that can hold flat items such as your driver's license, credit cards, or passport. One is zippered the other a magnet. It is nice for easy access at TSA. The back straps are padded and comfortable. I am inquiring with Travelpro about my options as this bag works for me but very risky to put my keys, chapstick ,change, etc in the top flap for risk of falling out everywhere, which has happened. The construction, top zipper flap aside is good!

Love the bag layout, had two defects and trying to work though the warranty. So far so good but they said they send a repair kit for broken zipper and I won’t be doing and zipper repair. So maybe it won’t work out. Time will tell

Love this backpack. I travel to see family in Europe often. Love that it stands upright. Lots of pockets. Fits my water bottle. Chest strap helps.

Absolutely love this bag, I do wish it was slightly smaller in length. As a flight attendant I carry multiple bags and have always hated my square Travelpro RON bag. It does fit on top of my 22” rollaboard, but is almost as big as it. I usually just hook it on my J hook. There are some good Organization pockets and two useless net ones on the inside. I love the width of the two outside pockets where I can actually fit a 22oz water bottle. And the sunglasses pocket is perfectly placed and a great size to carry two pairs.

The bag has plenty of room for all my flight gear. I keep a Bose aviation head set in the main compartment, my iPad and laptop in the back. I have room for my flash light, earplugs, power cords, a small medical kit, and plenty of snacks. I also keep a small battery to charge my equipment. My passports, pilot’s license, medical, and radio license also fit in with ease. The bag easily connects to the hook on my main suit case. For reference to other pilots I fly the 330 and the bag easily fits next to me. It would also work good on the 320, 220, 717, 757/767 and 737. The bad news. The zipper on the top flap is already broken and is not zipping shut. It’s not a huge deal, but it would be nice to store other things in that area. Plus for the price I expect it to work. I will reach out to the company and see if they can fix this.

This is a very well made quality bag with a clam shell opening which I like. It has very good organizational pockets and interior design is good. It's a good fit and a comfortable as a backpack. I find the interior of the bag tight and not spacious. Maybe because of all its padding. I had hoped it would have double interior capacity of my 14 liter Sparpani backpack but it doesn't seem to hold much more than that bag. I need more space without the interior bulk and extra weight.

We are very impressed with the build quality, organization and space available for this backpack. We would highly recommend, especially for business travel.

Great pack for business travel fits under seats on planes no problem easy to find pockets best business travel back that I have used so far.

Great backpack…has worked well for my travels through the Holidays.
