Firstly, i find it to be a little frustrating when almost every review on this entire site to be incentivized. If it's a good product, let it speak for itself. Myself, I paid full price for this item and i really like it. It feels very hydrating as i live in a very dry climate. However, i don't find that it did much (considering the price tag) for minimizing pore size or pigmentation. Also, the amount of packaging/waste that came in this order was RIDICULOUS!! I even opted to receive a recycable box as opposed to the standard, green, La Mer box, but it was STILL shipped in that green box. This has happened twice now. I feel like since everything is so pricey that they want to fluff every package up with as much paper & filling to try to satisfy the consumer spending a pretty penny, but y'all go way over the top. More so than almost any other skincare company that i order from, La Mer has got to be the worst offender of shipping SO much waste along side their items.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've already bought 3 of the product. . It actually caused some rashes on my inner face. I can only apply to forehead ; chin neck & area not close to eyes & lips.

I have been using this product for a few years. I am happy with the results for a product that is less expensive then other La Mer products. I have used other La Mer products that I liked better but they are a bit pricey for me.

My skin is aging, but does not take well to heavier moisturizers for daytime use, so finding this lotion in the La Mer line was wonderful. It is lightweight, but still provides that special sauce that the other moisturizers in the line deliver for skin that wants to look healthy and glowing each day. I will add a few drops of the sunscreen to this as I live in a sunshine daily climate, but otherwise, it is just a perfect moisturizer for those who don't want a heavier cream or product during the day.

The routine that works for me begins with the treatment lotion (cannot even say what it does) followed by this hydrating infusion. Sunscreen as needed (depends on season and location). Evening is the revitalizing serum. The actual moisturizers seem too much for my skin, but these products keep my skin soft, clear and happy. They all have a lovely, light and clean fragrance and simply feel good.

I fully understand why this has the reputation it does. The texture serially surprised me at first.. with the word "lotion" I expected a heavier, "lotion like" texture.. it's not a thin, watery toner but not a heavy lotion either. It has a silky slip feel that sinks in quickly but leaves your skin feeling instantly softer and more hydrated. Over time, I've noticed my skin looks calmer and more even, especially when I use it regularly before my serums. It seems to help everything layered on top absorb better. Sold! I love this product! I have combination skin and am in my early 40s. I have just discovered La Mer when researching a new skin care routine now that I am feeling my age.
