Love the periwinkle blue color I got. Very comfortable and lightweight. I had to get a larger size than I would have liked, though, to get it to zip comfortably. Can’t quite figure how to make the hood tighter, though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for hiking when it’s windy or barely sprinkling. Every time I wear it everything underneath it is drenched in condensation. Even when it isn’t raining I was drenched under the jacket. I’ve worn it twice now with the same issue. Even the inside of the coat had drops of water on it. Very strange.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Light weight with no lining. My bad. I thought the lighter blue in the picture was a light weight lining. Even at the sale price it is pricey for a nylon rain jacket. Spring, summer use only.

I’m a big, big fan of Columbia attire and own SO many pieces. I was really excited about this coat and LOVED the color and fit the first time I tried it on. I bought it for a 9-day Costa Rica trip and am literally typing this review in Costa Rica while riding a tour bus because I’m THAT unhappy with it, it’s also the first review I’ve ever left. I’ve only used it once and I dread putting it on again. I spent a lot of time researching rain jackets and wanted something light, packable, and effective. My boyfriend has a similar red men’s Columbia raincoat, which we originally thought was the same..it wasn’t..his had lining and ventilation.😢 We were caught up in a big tropical storm on one of our first nights and needless to say, I was SOAKED when we finally made it back to our room. Whether it’s due to ventilation restrictions or something else, I would NOT recommend this coat for anywhere with heavy rains or high temperatures. It didn’t feel good on my skin in the rain, nor after. Now I feel like I’m stuck here with no proper coat when the next rain storms hits. I think this coat would be fine for somewhere with lighter rain and moderate/mild temperatures..but not for me.

The first 15-20 minutes of my work day start outside every day. It was pouring one day and when I went inside and took this jacket off, my shirt underneath was soaked! Made for an uncomfortable & cold few minutes until it dried.

Materials are good quality, color is great! The plus size products from Columbia are way off! Plus sized people aren’t all square shaped! This jacket is utilitarian only. It has absolutely zero flattering qualities and it doesn’t even come pass the hips and protect my butt. I’d suggest revising the plus sized women’s clothing and consult real plus women.

I absolutely love this jacket and the malbec is my favorite color. It was just a little too small. I am going to reorder, although, sadly, in a different color. I bought it in case in rained, and it it is starting to get warmer,for a falconry course, no bright colors. I still love your products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I work outdoors and usually Columbia products are reliable, but this one is incorrectly advertised.It does well in light wind conditions (I work on boats) or as a summer windbreaker. I wore this during a rainstorm and got completely soaked! Rain literally absorbed into this jacket. Do not wear this if you plan on being in the rain for longer than 5 mins!

The picture makes it seem like it's a thick jacket..but when it arrived its light and will not keep you warm. Maybe 20bks worth

I bought a different Columbia jacket a couple years ago and sized up based in reviews. It’s too big! Ordered my normal size (2X) and it fits perfectly. Love the color and how small it folds up.
