This is my first time trying a Jo Malone fragrance. I got a travel size great for bringing in my toiletry bag on trips or on the go. It's a nice and masculine scent, thanks to the silver birch. The lavender doesn't make it less masculine. It smells fresh and clean but dries down nicely. This can be a unisex scent either way. It lasts most of the day with a couple sprays on the skin. It comes across as a fresh, woody take on lavender that feels clean. It opens smooth and the base of silver birch adds depth without becoming heavy. The overall impression is modern but it doesn't last very long on my skin.

SILVER BIRCH & LAVENDER COLOGNE by Jo Malone for me associates with simplicity and freshness. First, bright slightly spicy scent, then little lavender, and finally, a calm woody base. The aroma is light, neat, with slightly masculine character, but could be unisex. It's not loud, lasts well, and would work for spring and summer…when you want to smell clean and natural.

I wear it at work mostly and get lots of compliments on it, it lasts all day for me, I'm so impressed. I love this scent and use it all the time.

This cologne opens up with citrus and lavender notes. It's fresh and soapy, very clean smelling. This is very similar to sauvage but slightly more toned down so it could be considered unisex but still leans masculine. On the dry down you get metallic ambroxan and light woodsy notes. This smells so good. I have been using this for a couple weeks now and have received a countless amount of compliments. This is a very clean, fresh, citrousy scent. It's slightly woody, but not an overpowering woody, it's the perfect amount balanced with a very nice smidgen of lavender. This is the perfect everyday scent for me, I spray this as soon as I get out of the shower in the mornings and I can smell this throughout the whole day. Would absolutely recommend. This cologne is really a multitasker. It's perfect for days filled with various events where you need something formal AND normal. It's even a pretty gender-neutral fragrance to boot, not being overpoweringly "manly musk" or "girly spritz" - it's just a delightful, warm, comforting, "normal". Not boring "normal" or "conforming to society", but safe, familiar, and luxurious while still feeling homely. I really love it and am even considering buying the full-size product because of how awesome it is. It's everything I need in a fragrance.
