Black Spinel Horseshoe Clasp Paperclip Link Bracelet in 14k Gold-Plated Sterling Silver

I bought this for my daughter for graduation last May. It’s beautiful but she lost it because the clasp kept coming open. I don’t recommend buying it.

In a couple of months the gold had started to rub off and it was too late to return. Not even a year of use!

This is a very stylish bracelet and wears well with anything however it is cheaply made. It is the third piece of jewelry I’ve purchased from macys and will be the last. I consistently have to send them for repair or return.

The horseshoe clasp appears heavy duty but it will come undone! Fortunately I didn’t lose it and purchased a gold necklace extender & gold carabiners, otherwise I would suggest having a jeweler install a safety chain. I’m concerned about the durability of the “Italian gold.” I assume it is just a gold plating of sorts. I’ve read that wiping off body oils & lotions and not getting the bracelet wet may help keep the finish intact. I’m glad I got it on sale!

Love this bracelet and I bought twice. I lost the first one due to clasp opening. My husband asked me to order it again since I liked it so much and the again the clasp doesn’t hold. I wish it could be fixed somehow because it is beautiful.and I am afraid to wear it.

My wife loves the item, hopefully the durability will hold up. Brilliance, texture, craftsmanship and elegance are great!

Not as it seems. Purchased in January…and 3 1/2 months later, it’s lost its luster and color. Never showered with it on, so inclined to believe my skin affected the rapid change. Beautiful bracelet…however, very disappointed.
