It’s a bit big for storage and the garlic squishes out sometimes into a different chamber I have to then dig it out if verses just out straight…I love this brand in general but so far not impressed

I’ve owned one of these before but it has been missing for several years, so I bought a new one. Plus: it makes fine mince out of garlic without the hassle of chopping. Minus: doesn’t hold more than 1 large or a couple of smaller cloves at a time so you will have a few runs of it with a garlic heavy recipe. You need to take a sharp knife to remove the ‘skin’ that remains after crushing EACH time (not the papery part) this is starting from cleaned and peeled cloves. The DW doesn’t always get all the residual bits out and I end up washing again by hand. I wish it were a bit wider in the basket for capacity and easier cleaning.
1st time using garlic press. Leaves some product in shoot, otherwise a good addition to the kitchen.

This is the best garlic press available. It handles large cloves or two or three small cloves at a time. They rarely go on sale but they are the price. I got this one for my beach apartment.

This garlic press was redesigned from one I had a long time ago. This has a strange extra hinged piece that seems non-sensical and unnecessary. Just more to fumble with instead of just having a single cavity to put the garlic.
I bought this item because my stainless steel garlic press was getting too hard for me to squeeze, and the capacity was small. The OXO is larger and has padded handles which are much easier to grip and work with. And, I am very pleased with the product.
