Black & Decker 12-Cup Programmable Coffeemaker with VORTEX Technology

I bought this last week, and I like it better cause it don`t make a weird sound not like my old one

Excellent coffeemaker for the price. The VORTEX Technology makes rich, flavorful coffee, and the programmable feature is perfect for waking up to a fresh pot. Easy to use, easy to clean, and the 12-cup size is great for families or guests. Highly recommend!

This is the 2nd one of this exact coffee pot that I have purchased. I broke the glass carafe on the first one and it would’ve cost me more to replace that than it would to buy another coffee pot. There isn’t anything about this particular coffee pot that I do not love! The brewing is fast. The consistency is great. I love that I can set the plate warmer anywhere I want from 30 minutes to 2 hours to keep the coffee warm and I absolutely love that. There is a “strong“ button to brew your coffee, strong! A light comes on when it’s time to clean/descale the pot, and you just follow the directions to start then simply push the “clean” button & it does the rest! I had my 1st one for more than 3 years without any trouble whatsoever. Several of my local stores had this particular coffee pot online and it could be ordered, but I didn’t want to spend any more days without a coffee pot than I needed to and so I chose Macy’s to purchase this coffee pot because they had it in stock so I was able to pick it up the following day. I did curbside service and the lady that brought it out to my car was really nice and really positive. Thank you Macy’s!

So far it brews well but is quite noisy. The quality has gone down substantially as my other black and decker completely stopped working at 9 months so I don't have high hopes for this one but hope to get a year out of it. It's awkward trying to get the basket to fit back in properly.

This coffee maker is simple but that's what I want. It is a compact design but has a large capacity carafe. I really appreciate the basket style filter because that option is getting harder and harder to find. This is perfect for me!

Good product makes great coffee

It's just OK. I don't find the VORTEX too have any impact on the flavor of coffee. It's an advertising gimmick. Coffee temperature starts out hot but does not stay that way over the 2 hours. The VORTEX arm makes getting the water into reservoir difficult, that needs to be refined. I am not fond of glass carafe, so because of that and the other issues I stated, I have ordered another "Dispenser" type coffeemaker and will use this as a "just in case".

I got tricked by Macy's. You said it will take more time to deliver the package to me, instead of me picking it up from the store. That was a LIE.
