I have not slept on this pillow case yet so I can't comment regarding that. The pillow case appears as I expected, but the length barely fits my standard sized pillow zipped up. It is an extra fluffy pillow to accommodate side sleeping. If I had known, I would have ordered the king sized for the extra length
