I'm so disappointed I finally bought one of these a couple weeks ago and it just does not seem worth the money and does not plump I don't know if I maybe got a bad batch but I'm so sad! I used to be die hard lip plumper fan of too faced Brand specifically but mine doesn't work!
Bought this in the Blueberry as a gift for someone. They really like it. Said it plumps as it is supposed to. Feels good on the lips. Softens as it tingles.
I just tried this in store at an Australian retailer today and had a scary reaction. I am leaving this review as you need to include a warning label on what this can do. I didn't think I was allergic to any of the ingredients but I took the product off and a few minutes after removing it with a cotton pad and Micellar water, I developed a red rash up the left side of my face. The staff af the AU reseller were amazing af addressing the issue but I am disappointed to read in some reviews on here that people have had bad reactions, similar to mine, yet you don't have a warning on your product. I felt like I'd been sprayed with capsicum spray and was red for a couple of hours. It is calming down now but it's put me off ever buying your products in future.
Bismuth oxychloride is not approved for lip products in the United States. However several shades of this lip plumper contain bismuth oxychloride. I wish I would have looked a bit longer at the ingredient list. However, that does not excuse Too Faced, a multimillion-dollar company, to overlook this glaring issue.
I wanted to try a lip plumper because I want the fullness of the lips. I love how your lips feel and look hydrated. It does not burn but tingles. You can feel your lips getting thicker because it will begin to feel tight. My only complaint is that is does not last long. After the gloss has dried my lips are no longer plump. I love the smell.
Did absolutely nothing. So disappointed. ☹️
I love this product. It definitely works and the color is beautiful. I also like Too Faced Beauty Products because they are cruelty-free. No animal testing. ❤️
I love the results of this product. With consistent wear your lips get juicier! Try not to get the serum anywhere else in your skin, or hair it will get red and welt… I experienced my hair getting on my lips and then stuck on my face resulting in little curly red lines on my face lol… suggest lightly lining your lips with the serum and waiting 5 minutes before applying it entirely for a second coat. Do this daily for maximum plump :p
I love the tingling effect on the lips with this. I like that the effect last a long time as others seem to wear off after a few minutes. I first bought the original travel size in the pink color and I reach for it often so I got the full size in the Blueberry. I'm so glad I did, I am fair skinned and the color shows up as a beautiful bunny nose pink color. If you like the tingle I recommend the Lip Injection liners and liquid lipstick.
After 5 minutes a small line from the gloss turned into a massive swollen red scar on my hand
