Cole & Mason Barkway Acacia Serving & Chopping Board - Medium

I purchased this for myself as I am trying to collect new kitchen items for my kitchen remodel.

Used food grade mineral oil to treat prior to use. Looked BEAUTIFUL until after first use. Washed with mild soap, wiped excess water and left to stand. After drying, wood had fine splinters on surface. Sanded and reapplied mineral oil. Looks like this is a common issue with these boards. Am I going to have to sand after every use? Is this normal for acacia wood?

Having purchased many boards, this crack was a damage that makes it unusable. Cannot return. Will throw it in trash along with my money.

Got rid of my plastic cutting board due to health hazards.

Why would you deliver a different item that I didn’t order?

Strong varnish smell, wood is splintering after first hand washing. Wood is good quality so gave it a 2. Will try to sand it and use better varnish.

Good quality cutting board easy to handle excellent value on sale.
