Bag is lovely but the hook closure is not convenient. It is difficult to open and close. I should have paid closer attention to it before I bought it . That is probably why it was returned and marked down.
I love this bag, practical and the prices just fraction of Dior…, same practical and not too loud about branding. It big enough for sunglasses, wallet, keys,bottles water, phone what else do we need. Recommended.
The perfect bag. I wish it came in more colors besides the British tan. I love all of my RL bags. The craftsmanship, the versatility, and the durability of his bags are on par with the Italian designers.
I'd had my eye on this bag for a long time. It's a nice size for all your basics, you can easily see everything inside, no more fishing through a bigger bag for things at the bottom. It's beautifully made and also very lightweight, a real plus. When it went on sale for friends and family I ordered the black and the saddle tan.

I don't like that it doesn't close all the way at the top. I was surprised to see that because a top closure seems so basic, and it seems like a big oversight. I'll have to be careful not to leave it on the back of a chair. Otherwise it's a very nice bag and the perfect size for me.
The Marcy’s are the best- timeless, functional, stylish yet practical. Please keep the Marcy line going Ralph Lauren. Please make the small Marcy in Explorer Sand color for spring/summer:
Something happened to my bag!!! It’s two tone instead of saddle brown. Definitely a messed up bag somewhere along the transport line. Something bizarre became of the leather. I usually love all my Ralph purchases. I have this exact bag in black with NO issues. I did not open the bag till now. And it’s a mess.super bummer.
From the advertised picture of the purse, you can not see that the purse does not fully close. There is an about 3 inch wide opening at the top of the purse that can not be closed because the leather is so stiff. That means that if you sling your purse over the back of a chair at a restaurant, someone could easily reach in and steal your wallet, phone or other valuables. Another problem is that store owners might see your open purse and think you are a potential shoplifter. I decided to return the purse because I don't want to worry about people reaching into my purse while I am not watching. Otherwise, the purse is beautiful and the leather quality is outstanding!
I love this bag so much! I bought it in the tan and find myself reaching for it way more than my other ones. It’s compact but spacious. Highly recommend. I’m going to be buying it in black because I love it so much!!
