How hot can this go - A) on the stove B) in the oven with handle C) in the oven without handle

Perfect alternative to non-stick pans that break / scratch every couple of months. They are very good quality, look great in the kitchen, easy to cook, seamless non-stick transition experience, and most importantly - it's much healthier.

used it few times, washed & dried. started seeing rust marks. disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pan is a great size for everyday cooking. The handle is secure with rubber so it doesn’t get hot. It kind of crackles and pops when cooking, that’s the only thing to be wary of. The color and material are great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far it works well. I do appreciate there are no chemical Processes in this pan. I am though confused as to the cleaning process. It said to wash with soap and water but other carbon still products say you should not use soap at all and to lightly oil. Carbon steel has iron like a cast iron you do not use soap and you always season. So this is the option I am taking to preserve the finish.

Used it twice followed the directions exactly and after cooking kale with eggs on medium low temp, the lid allowed evaporation to form and the water from that cause rust spots that weren’t there before I cooked.

The OXO pan comes pre-seasoned but I applied another seasoning coat before I used it ('cause that's just how I roll). I've only used it once and I am very satisfied. I fried eggs that slid easily out of the pan and cleanup was a cinch. It's much lighter than a previous carbon steel pan I owned and certainly much lighter than a typical cast iron pan. The silicon handles are a welcome feature too.

Additionally, the provided silicon handle is easy to remove and clean, providing excellent heat insulation from heating the pan. Overall, it’s an exclusive pan.

The preseasoning and smoothness is great. Handle isn't as ergonomic as I hoped but just as good as most carbon steel.
