I love this dress so much! It fits perfectly (just needs to be hemmed) and I love the plum color. It is for my son's wedding and the dress is the right mix of elegance and comfort. I bought a gown from Macy's a year ago for my daughter's wedding and it was a home run too!!! I'm very thankful that I could get such beautiful dresses that were beautiful and affordable.
Very happy with my purchase. I’ve been looking for the perfect mother of the bride dress and this was perfect.
I received my order quickly, however, it was 3/4 lengths not full length. I called service and they processed refund and reordered the dress. I’m waiting for the shipment and will see if I get the full length dress. I also received a discount for the inconvenience.
So disappointed in Macy’s! Dress arrived rolled up in a bag & has a strong oder. The look & fit of dress is ok, but who wants to wear a smelly dress to granddaughters wedding. Shame on May’s. I , of course, will be returning it. And again will be looking for a dress to wear, but most likely Not from Macy’s.

I’m 5’9”. I bought this dress in a size 12. It fits beautifully and the length is perfect. I was a little surprised that it arrived in a plastic bag. However, when I hung it up any wrinkles came out. It will be perfect for my nephew’s fall wedding!
My dress for my son's wedding, the Alex Evening Gown, arrived promptly. The dress is perfect for the wedding, with lace and sequence on the top. It is elegant and I love it!
Dress design and color great. Dress fit, terrible! Double layer dress with sequin jacket stitched together, but sewed poorly- tailor is fixing. Short time that Dress needed, otherwise I would have bought a different one. Can't believe dress passed inspection.
I tried this dress on first and said, This is THE DRESS! I didn’t even try on the others that Inhad Brought in the fitting room. I will wear it for my daughter’s summer wedding! It fit quite well, but I will have a seamstress tweak the bodice and shorten the hem. I can’t wait to wear it!
