The design aesthetic of the flatware is good. But the set is listed as satin which is misleading. Only the handles are satin finish - the top half is very shiny. We don't like reflective flatware and so we will have to return. It would be so helpful if this prominent design feature was included in the description. Also, the pieces are somewhat lightweight which feels lower quality.
Was so happy to find that Macy’s had this Oneida Satin Easton silverware to add to my collection at a great price! Love this pattern!

Purchased Easton Flatware sets when my husband and I married in 1996. We’ve lost a couple of pieces along the way, but we still love the simplicity and functionality of this set. Recently decided to update our set and purchase additional place settings. I was a little worried that the satin wouldn’t go with my original set, but the slight style change only adds dimension to our table. I highly recommend Easton flatware as it can withstand the test of time.
Beware....while the style is the same as the set I received as a wedding present in 1994, the handle is NOW a matte finish. The 1994 edition were a shiny handle. Unfortunately I have to return all of them. I still love my Easton set 30 years later!!! Still looks pretty after all these years. Needing to add additional pieces
looks even better than I thought they would.

When holding them, they're very sturdy and easy to use while cutting food. I felt they were too nice to use on a daily so we are going to keep them put up until we have a nice dinner. I felt they'll last a lifetime even if we do use them daily.
