These are nice, 'dressy' socks. Like other reviewers have said, they are a bit tight around the calf area.

These crew socks are a very nice quality and very comfortable to wear all day. Not too tight on my leg but stay up. They also have about a 1.5-inch reinforced band around the leg for comfort and to ensure that they don't fall down. They come up your leg about 5 inches from your foot, just the right height. Perfect to wear with my dress pants with dress shoes or loafers as they are thin but still black and you don't see through them. A bit thicker than a nylon. Great quality material. Very impressed, just ordered another 3-pack while on sale. Great purchase.
