I have wide feet and this sandal fits pretty well (normally wear 8.5W shoe); the 9W fit while this shoe in 8.5 did not. It is still a little tight across the sparkly strap but the heel height is enough to look dressy with a long dress (without being too high to walk in comfortably). It is what I was looking for.
