Let me tell you what makes mascara great. It can add just enough for a natural look, or enough to give you serious glam lashes. I mean, seriously, you get volume with this that rivals fake lashes - without looking fake. I have no idea if it's waterproof. It didn't matter what they call it - it's something in between regular and waterproof. This formula is not like anything I've ever tried (and I've tried lots of them) Others are like a paint that adheres to your lashes and it's nearly impossible to get off. This one behaves more like that insulation you see on wires. It binds tightly but isn't "glued" to your lashes. The result? Not as waterproof as some waterproof formulas. You can submerge your face in water without having black paint streaking down your face. BUT when you gently rub with your fingers, the coating breaks apart and comes off in little crumbs (pretty easily!). Tip: wiggle the wand left/right as you swipe. Miracles happen!

I received this product in exchange for an honest review. This mascara is wonderful. The applicator brush is great. Its a little fluffy but the bristles arent super close together. It fans out the lashes more than a lot of other mascaras that cause clumping because theirs are so close together. Theres no clumping with this mascara and the formula is not dry at all. It glides on smoothly and it doesnt have fall-out. The mascara lasts all day and it doesnt make my eyes water or anything. I highly recommend trying this one out.

I love this mascara!!! It really makes your eyes pop! At first I was skeptical on whether or not this mascara would do what it claims to do,but after using it I can truly say it absolutely works! There is no clumping or flaking! It last all day! It gives you such pretty and natural elongated looking lashes! I highly recommend!

I been trying this mascara for about a week now and so far I love it. It looks good, easy to apply, makes my lashes looks thicker, but it does not add to much length to it. Got this product for free for honest opinion

The PUR fully charged mascara is just so fun. First, I played around the wand and tested its negative magnetic core with some paper clips and staples. It definitely works. I think it does a really good job of lifting, and separating lashes. Its a nice inky black formula and a long slightly hourglass shaped bristle wand. My lashes arent the longest or widest so I dont think this is the ideal wand for my eye type. For the bottom lashes, you definitely want to hold the mascara wand vertically. I think the wand would be ideal for someone with a wide, round eye. I ended up tested the product with disposable wands and an actual magnet on several of my friends who have longer lashes, and the lift was amazing. It also retains a curl very well. It was such a cute DIY science experiment. I found it very buildable. I would say you can do three coats of mascara before it starts to clump. I think this is a great mascara for everyday use. I didnt have any major issues with smudging but it definitely is on the harder side to remove, even when it dries, so when I tried to fix some smudges on the lower eyelash it ended up looking like a smudgy intentional eyeliner. Its not a huge issue for me because I think most mascaras are like that anyway. I think it should be done before base make up to avoid ruining the foundational layer. I also love that PUR is cruelty free and vegan.

If it puts a curl back in, that is also a plus. This is a good mascara. It definitely comes with a learning curve. I found it took a few tries before I was really pleased with the results. This baby will make your lashes thick! I dont feel that it did as much to lengthen. Also, because it was so thick, I felt it really didnt hold the curl I put in my lashes. In all honesty, not much does. One thing I noted, I liked it more and more as I kept using it. I agree that it does not flake. The formula is very flexible on the lashes, meaning it doesnt feel stiff. It does take quite a while to dry down, and because of this it does have the potential to smear during that time. This is a mascara you really need to take your time with. Because its so thickening, 1 or 2 coats is really all you need. If I try to build it up any more than that I end up with thick, clumpy lashes and mascara smeared all over my eyes. Again, I liked this as I kept using it because it really does improve the condition of your lashes! Im glad Pur added the video on how to apply this product. It can be a bit tricky, but over the course of the time I tested it I found it to be worth the extra effort. It removed easily, it didnt run, and a biggie for me, it didnt irritate my sensitive eyes. I would recommend this product to someone who is experienced is using makeup and struggles with finding products for their sensitive eyes.
