I purchased two set and was very disappointed. They are not gold tone. Its more like a brown tone. My daughter open and put them away before i got home and unfortunately she tossed the packaging so now i am stuck with them. ** if you are looking for gold tone DO NOT BUY**
I ordered this beautiful gold tone plate set. But what I got. Looks a lot more darker. Like brown metallic color. I have a gold tone utensils set to compare.

I purchased 3 boxes because I got tired of mismatched dishes and not having enough when we have company. I just received the dishes and so far they appear to be beautiful and sturdy! I could see them lasting for years to come.
The "gold" colored trim is not gold color; it's more of a brownish color. Nice dishes otherwise, but the color is definitely not as pictured. Will be sending back. Wish company would post accurate pictures of their products.
