I bought 3 sets in September. I love the weight of this set but there are a lot of “wear” marks that the black has scratched. I even started washing the knives by hand so they didn’t touch the other pieces in the dishwasher. They are sleek and look great but the coating just didn’t hold up well.
Bought these to go with another set we already had. They complement each other.
The feel is terrible, they run together in a way that similar to nails on a chalkboard, they are heavy and thick. And worst is that the black is coming off after only 2 months of use. Wish the return window didn’t close so quickly
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This silverware set is so pretty! They are very durable also. It's not too heavy but not light. They are rust resistant, which is really nice! Great for everyday dinner or just nice for holidays. This flatware set is great for any occasion.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this set of flatware since I received it and I am in love. Sometimes when you get black flatware the color goes away with time. This set still looks new and month later. It has a nice weight to the handle that feels very comfortable in your hand. While I was expecting black they are more of a dark gunmetal which goes well with my different dining sets.
The part dealing with Macy’s was great. The actual items and the quality seems to be lacking and I am not having any luck dealing with Oneida on the warranty as the black coating has started to come off after less than 1 month.

It’s super heavy and durable yet super elegant. It held up when washed in the dish washer no paint chipping or heavy wear and tear. I highly recommend this beautiful set and it goes with my Rae Dunn kitchen decor perfectly. I could not be happier to have received this set.
