I am going for a more modern look to my southwest home and replacing older fussy style lamps really makes quite a difference. This lamp was relatively inexpensive but does not look cheap. It's very nice and easy to assemble. A great purchase. Very happy.
For the price, a lampshade should have been included.
I love this for my living room. Just as expected with a minor suggestion. It’s modern looking. The gold is a perfect brushed color and not yellow gold like a lot of “brushed gold” advertised. Super easy to put together. I wished the white shade had a protective wrap when putting it together as it got dirty from the get go and now I have a visible mark on it I can’t get clean. The only reason for 4 stars is I wish there were a couple optional choices for lamp shade color. This is a very bright cool white and contrasts a bit too stark for my warm white walls, sofa and floors. A linen or flax color would be nice. Otherwise, love it. I’ll have to shop for a different shade.
Great looking lamp, great price, easy to put together
The ratings for this lamp were great and I decided to buy this lamp for our living room. I was a little hesitant to buy from a brand I had never heard of, but I'm so happy I did. The shipping was a little delayed (not the fault of Brightech) and I connected with customer service to see if they could assist. They were so kind and helpful and I was extremely satisfied with their support. The lamp turned out to be great as well - we have had it for 6 months and love it. Great quality for a very reasonable price. I am now looking into buying another Brightech lamp for our home office.

This is a great lamp, stylish and the photos are accurate. Assembly was easy and it is sturdy. I chose to use a different light bulb because it was quite florescent.
I've had the lamp a little over a month now and I use it everyday. I was surprised at how compactly packaged it arrived. You have to screw the pieces of the legs together to make 1 leg. I was afraid the seams would show, but they are very hard to see once put together. The shade was another piece I worried about. It comes rolled up. Once unrolled and attached by the magnetic strips on each side it looks like any other pre-made shade... no dents. I switched out the bulb it came with for a softer white. Overall a great lamp for the price!
Before you purchase one of the lamps with a lampshade, just know that it seals with either a magnet or Velcro. The seam therefore looks very cheap and you'll need to hide it in the back -- so if your lamp is going to be fully visible, I wouldn't recommend. I'm purchasing a replacement shade. There was also a missing piece, which I'm hoping Brightech will send to me.
