I use my den desk for my laptop, my watch repairs, my eyeglasses repairs, etc. this lamp does them all better. The light has variable brightness, which also changes the light color so it is always comfortable. The magnifier is both sharp and LARGE. The arm movement is smooth and easy, which means I can change tasks and position easily without hurting my hands on set knobs. Solves all my old problems with light magnification and control.

I really love my Brightech magnifying light! I like to crosstitch on linen and it is a must that I have the magnification.This light does it all. The only problem I have is that it doesn't turn as well as I would like on the magnifying part;still trying to work it out with my recliner.

Very good looking, sturdy light that works great for my cross stitching. Sooo glad I went with this light instead of it’s more popular competitor sold at big box stores. Very pleased with the quality.

This is worth the expense. Lamp is invaluable if you do any kind of close work. I do embroidery and quilting and the light is better than daylight. Magnification is a great option also.

This light was easy to assemble. I like that the brightness of the light can be adjusted with the touch of a button. The magnifying glass is great also. It’s a great light for doing counted cross stitch.

Originally, I bought this lamp for my hobby work area, and it is a fantastic desk lamp in every respect. It is very stable, the light is pure and easy on the eyes, and the large magnification area is perfect for working on small detail parts. That said, my wife thought such a lamp also would be perfect for her hobby work area as well. She really liked mine, so now have another one for her. In her case, the large magnification glass, adjustable light level, and set-up as a floor lamp are great when working at a table with small and sometime unintelligible print/old documents. Two very satisfied customers now, and we both would recommend this very versatile lamp.

My initial use of the "1 x LightView XL Magnifying Glass Light: 2in1 Floor Standing to Table Lamp," proved to me I sorely needed this lamp! I used this lamp solely to do beadweaving; I sew small seed beads together to create art jewelry. I immediately noticed the difference from the Ott light I was previously using to this light. Initially I used only the lamp without the magnifier, which was great by itself. Then I figured I purchased this lamp for the extra magnification, so I might as well use it! Now I cannot bead without it! The construction is sturdy and when I move the lamp arm closer, it stays put, which I appreciate. I have only used it as a floor lamp, I have not used it as a table lamp yet. But I am glad I have the option to do so (once I make room on my beading table!) Very happy with this wise and essential purchase!

This is a "sight" saver! I could not believe the difference that it makes in using beads that are smaller than a pinhead! It is easily adjusted, the different amounts of light available and the size magnifying area is excellent. I bought the floor model that can also be used as a desk light if I change work stations. A must have for all the "tiny" precise hobbies that require great light and magnification! Highly recommend!!
