The cape is really heavy and might be a little too much for California. It is also bulky, I'm a plus size and it fits, but is not very flattering as it adds bulk that I don't really need.

I have this cape in ecru, black, formal grey, and a dark chocolate brown from seasons ago. I love that it is sizeless, so I can wear it no matter what shape I'm in. It's pretty and comfortable and warm. The hood is nice to have for an option. I like to dress in layers, instead of one giant coat, so this is perfect. I always get compliments! This cape is meant to be roomy and flowy, so if you prefer more fitted items, you won't be happy. As for me, I keep watching for more colors in this style.
