Very nice towels soft and thick

Soft but shedding
They are soft, as promised, but they shed. A lot. I washed them before using and my washer was covered in lint and a blue stain (I bought the navy blue). I like the softness for the face cloth but the towels just feel wet all the time and still, after another washing, leave bits of lint on my body.
