I bought my first one in a B&N store a couple of years ago when my other journal was full. This is a great size to carry to make notes and observations, and I'm buying another to have for when I need it. The cover is pretty, and though it looks leather, it is not. It's still sturdy enough to have held up in my purse. I have sent friends other Peter Pauper journals since buying this one, and they've liked those very much.
