I haven't had a chance to use this yet, but it seems to be very sturdy and the characters are very clear. I examined it well and I was happy enough with it that I didn't return it. It looks and feels like the characters will stamp clearly and I think the stamps will last a long time.
The typeset is perfect and old fashioned. Not quite Courier old fashioned but maybe more like times new roman old fashioned. HOWEVER. The rubber comes off really easily from the wooden blocks, and one of the shelves between the letters is warmped which makes it a little hard to get out sometimes.
